Who Should Attend?
A message from Dana Lawrence, Lead for TAO Fintech Community:

What is Fintech?? Fintech can be any collaboration between technology and financial services. For example, crypto/bitcoin/stablecoins, apps like Venmo or CashApp for payments, managing card payments for your small biz with Square, a neobank like Chime. Your parents, grandparents had to go to a physical bank branch and write checks to do business. Now everything is trending digital. That’s fintech. There is explosive growth in this area and lots of opportunity in a variety of business, technical, marketing, creative, product domains that might be of interest to students.
Technology Association of Oregon has launched a new Fintech community and we have a lot of successful founders, startups and operators in the space. We’re super excited to connect with UO students, hear what interests you, share info and connect you to opportunities!
Totally welcome to newbies, enthusiasts, and anyone in between. You are the future! I hope to see you there!
