Techlandia: Seeking Submissions

TECHLANDIA is TAO’s online guide shared nationally to share the stories of our  growing Oregon and SW Washington technology community.  In its inaugural year, Techlandia won a Gold Stevie at the 16th Annual American Business Awards for the best Best Newsletter or House Organization/Publication in the Online/Electronic category.

Our second edition will expand on the outreach to careers services departments at colleges and universities around the U.S., as well as selected professional networks/communities.  TAO utilizes Techlandia to profile companies, professionals, places and activities that make up the region’s tech industry through curated content to provide prospective candidates with a richer picture of why pursuing a career in our thriving regions makes sense.

With the success of our first edition, we are now announcing our call for submissions!  This year’s piece will continue a focus of interviews, articles and local regional insights as well as bring together interactive content to highlight your brand – far beyond the PNW.  To express your interest in participating in this next edition, please complete this survey and our team will be in touch on further details.

TECHLANDIA online guide offers a form of publicity that TAO has never been able to offer to sponsors before – interactive content and advertisements – at a national scale. Advertisers within TECHLANDIA can place links to social media networks, contests, graphs, and videos within the ads, creating an entirely new way for the reader and potential customer to develop a relationship with the brand and to encourage new talent to look first at Oregon as the place to start or grow their career. TAO is actively working with schools and professional organizations, in Oregon and beyond, to distribute TECHLANDIA to students and those transitioning into tech from other fields.
