2022 Lifetime Achievement Award Honoree Announced

Portland, Ore. – March 21, 2022 –The Technology Association of Oregon (TAO) announced today the selection of Craig Reinhart of JLL as the Lifetime Achievement Award winner. Reinhart will be recognized as part of the Oregon Technology Awards ceremony, an annual program celebrating excellence and achievement in the region’s technology industry, on Tuesday, May 3rd at the Oregon Convention Center.[caption id="attachment_13512" align="alignleft" width="261"]

2022 Lifetime Achievement Award Winner Craig Reinhart[/caption]The formal title of Craig Reinhart, the 2022 Lifetime Achievement Award Winner, might be Managing Director of Occupier Services at JLL’s Portland office, but his business card and LinkedIn profile recognize his true regional impact - Client Success Evangelist. An entrepreneur at heart, having applied for a patent while in high school, Reinhart has spent the past 35 years stewarding the success of the emerging and established technology companies he has represented locally and globally. He has carved a niche as an exclusive tenant advocate and market leader representing from the latest venture backed startups to the largest public corporations.“The Lifetime Achievement Award recognizes excellence in industry leadership as well as an individual’s positive impact in the greater Oregon community,” said Skip Newberry, President and CEO at TAO. “Craig has worked tirelessly to support technology founders in our region - often waiving his own compensation and flying nationally and internationally at his own cost to assure even the smallest project has his personal attention. That same attention that Craig has applied to his client’s success he has applied to his company, the team which he is a part of at JLL, and the work he had done on behalf of TAO. I’m thrilled to recognize Craig as the 2022 Lifetime Achievement winner.”In addition to assuring his customers receive the best terms from landlords and the most flexible leases, Reinhart, and his wife Nikki, have always wanted founders and their families to feel welcome and included in the technology ecosystem and the entrepreneurial journey. Over the years they have made their home a gathering place for countless events for the startup community, CEO welcome events, dinners, and cocktail parties along with industry partners like Silicon Valley Bank, Perkins Coie, and Voyager Capital. Reinhart has also directly invested in Portland Seed Fund, Rogue Venture Partners, Oregon Angel Fund and Smart Forest Ventures funds and numerous startups to further demonstrate his commitment.   He has partnered with organizations like TAO to host programming focused on human resources, workplace culture, and diversity, equity, and inclusion. Reinhart is also a social impact investor and supporter of Girls Inc., Business for a Better Portland, iUrbanTeen, PitchBlack, and Portland Women in Tech (PDXWIT). “I am honored to be receiving the Lifetime Achievement Award,” said Reinhart. “It’s been incredibly rewarding to be a part of the growth of the local technology community.
