2021 Oregon Technology Awards Winners Announced

Recipients’ accomplishments honored during Friday’s ceremony.

Portland, Ore.  (September 17, 2021) — The Technology Association of Oregon (TAO) today announced the winners of the 2021 Oregon Technology Awards at an awards ceremony held both virtually and in person at The Nines in downtown Portland. These awards celebrate excellence and achievement within the region’s vibrant technology community.Now in their 37th year, the Oregon Technology Awards recognize the state’s most noteworthy technology companies in four categories: Technology Company of the Year, Influential Technology Company Not Headquartered in Oregon, Most Disruptive Technology of the Year, and People’s Choice.The event also honored three outstanding leaders in the Oregon and Southwest Washington technology community. Monica Enand, Founder & Chief Executive Officer of Zapproved, received the 2021 Sam Blackman Award. Debi Coleman, Technology Executive and Angel Investor, was honored with the 2021 Lifetime Achievement Award and Charlie Kawasaki, Chief Technology Officer at PacStar, was the winner of the 2021 Tech Champion Award."Oregon’s technology community continues to thrive and mature, and the companies honored tonight are building the future of our state,” said Skip Newberry, TAO President and CEO. “It is an honor to celebrate the leaders making an impact and the companies elevating the state’s technology economy.”The winners were selected from a wide spectrum of industries within the various award categories.
