When it comes to data governance at SAIF, the mission is twofold: to use your expertise to help the company make strong business decisions, and to influence an organization and culture to use data in effective and innovative ways.

As SAIF's new data governance analyst, you will be our resident expert on metadata, workflows, and data quality rules.

In this role, you’ll roll up your sleeves to design, configure, and implement data governance solutions directly within Collibra Data Intelligence Cloud. You will create workflows, manage business glossaries, and assign security classifications. You’ll also implement data quality rules, track critical metrics, and develop data governance dashboards.

We're looking for a candidate who is ready to dive deep into Collibra. You’ll need to be experienced in gathering, documenting, and analyzing requirements to create functional documents for implementation by the data engineering team.

As a critical part of the data governance program, you’ll standardize data definitions and improve the quality of the data used across the organization. If you’re up for the challenge, we encourage you to apply.

The following qualifications are recommended:

Experience: Five years of experience in gathering business requirements, analyzing, and creating data specification documents, effectively optimizing business processes using diverse data applications. Proven expertise in using Collibra Data Intelligence Cloud and Collibra Data Quality tools, along with four years of experience with Collibra Data Governance tools (Collibra DIP/DQ Tools). Ability to work closely with analysts and data stewards across the organization to enhance data quality and standardization efforts. Experience in designing and implementing comprehensive data governance structures within Collibra, including communities, domains, subdomains, and assets, aligned with organizational needs along with expertise in creating and updating business glossaries, critical data elements (CDEs), security classifications, tagging, and auto-classification to improve data governance and metadata management. Success with implementing business lineage, business rules, and logic within the Collibra platform, ensuring clear and effective governance processes. Ability to work well within a team-oriented, collaborative environment and possess excellent communication, cross-group coordination, presentation, and facilitation skills. Preferred qualifications include certification in Collibra tools.

Education: A bachelor’s degree in business, information management or related field.

Other combinations of skills and experience may be considered.
