HackOR
This Spring, come out to HackOR, a free virtual hackathon for all students to come together to write code, learn new skills through workshops, and do some networking.
Taking place from March 26th – 28th, HackOR welcomes all students—from high schoolers to graduate students—to attend, with no prior experience needed. We will also be offering workshops, panels, and mentors to guide you through the process. You can enter with a team, or form one through our gathertown events and make some new friends! Join us by registering at http://hackor.org.
Newbies: Are you interested in joining a hackathon, but worried that you’re not experienced enough to compete? Don’t want to sit at a computer for 48 hours straight? At HackOR, we have just the thing for you! In addition to our general entry form, we have a beginner track, which allows students to attend HackOR in a more “conference style” format and submit their final project for the “Best Beginner Hack” category. The beginner application is next to the standard application on our website, you can’t miss it!
HackOR is also looking for mentors and workshop leaders! If you feel especially experienced, or have a cool new skill you’d like to teach, please fill out our application form at http://mentor.hackor.org.
We hope to see you virtually for three free days of fun with events, prizes, amazing mentors & workshops, and more! Please feel free to reach out to us with any questions at hello@hackor.org.
