Greater Oregon STEM (GO STEM) Hub
Which region do you serve? How would you describe it?
Eastern Oregon: Morrow, Umatilla, Wallowa, Union, Grant, Baker, and Harney counties. It is the largest geographic hub in the state.
Briefly describe a few of your Hub’s current initiatives.
We provide STEM education, support, and pipelines and pathways for PreK-20. We have an initiative around PreK stem kits for classroom educators, provide STEAM PD for elementary educators, Career Connected Learning opportunities to connect students to industry, are starting Eastern Oregon Works for high school student internship opportunities, and holding Camp Invention at the EOU campus this summer, to name a few projects.
