TAO’s “Resiliency Series” was created as an opportunity for community members to hear directly from elected officials and key community stakeholders about issues related to the resiliency of our region.
TOPIC OVERVIEW
TAO President & CEO Skip Newberry hosted Oregon Secretary of State, Shemia Fagan, who was elected to office this past November.
The two discussed the Secretary’s role and responsiblities, and her priorities for expanding voting access. They focused on the Corporation Division and whether there are opportunities to make it easier for businesses to get started in Oregon. Finally, Secretary Fagan is likely going to be responsible for determining how to redraw legislative boundaries across the State of Oregon during her term.
