About Adpearance
Adpearance is a Portland-based, results-driven digital marketing agency that helps businesses to generate the most quality leads possible. We’re well known as the best in automotive and are successfully expanding to more verticals, too.
But that’s what we do. Anyone who is applying deserves to know who we are.
We are the Nerdherd. A group of people who have an innate desire to connect with something bigger than ourselves– both professionally and personally. Who love to solve problems. Who see the beauty of the mind. Who want to balance work-from-home flexibility with being part of a community. We know we’re a part of something special and want to attract curious minds to make our performance, company, and culture better. The three words our employees most frequently use to describe working at Adpearance: Welcoming. Challenging. Fun.
If that sounds like the kind of company you want to be a part of, there’s good news. We’re hiring for a Marketing Specialist!
About You
You gather accomplishments and seek out new challenges in every sphere of your life. Even if you haven’t broken into the career of your choosing yet, you’ve got examples of your drive to accomplish from other arenas– whether professional, academic, or volunteer. How you’ve juggled competing priorities. How you overachieved. How you excelled even when no one else was keeping score. Bring us your story and show us the data. We’ll bet on intrinsically-motivated, beautiful minds all day long.
The Position
The role of the Marketing Specialist is to support the growth, tactical execution, and brand nuance of digital marketing services. This role provides an opportunity to learn more about digital marketing and develop expertise in SEO, social media, reputation management, and content marketing for businesses.
Responsibilities

-
Service Delivery: You will oversee a defined set of clients and services. Your role is to ensure tasks are executed on time and on strategy.
-
Day-to-day Organization: Our weeks, days, and months are filled with a variety of deadlines. As a Marketing Specialist, you will be responsible for organizing your tasks and time to balance client and internal deadlines and priorities.
-
Client Communication: At times, you’ll be asked to provide your expertise on reporting calls and service recommendations on Strategist-lead client calls.
-
Service Improvements: We have established general strategic guidelines—both industry specific and more general. You are expected to follow the basic guidelines, enhance them, and present new solutions to improve our services.
-
Working Independently and With a Team: You’ll be collaborating with both in-office and remote team members ranging from developers to designers to client success managers.
-
Reporting: You will work closely with internal teams to ensure our services and strategies are driving results for clients by executing reports, analyzing trends, projecting wins, and spotting and solving problems before they become issues.

-
You can adapt your message. Whether you’re talking to a client, a manager, a specialist, a client success manager, or an account director, you know how to deliver the right message, at the right time.
-
You are organized. You excel at managing your own workload. Complex projects and fluctuating workloads don’t stress you out; you already know your priorities and what to tackle first.
