Your New Role:
The Director of Marketing role is a digital marketing position for a tech-enabled, primarily remote company. As the Director of Marketing for this full-service, national language company, you’ll be responsible for developing B2B marketing strategies based on a deep understanding of digital marketing including paid, owned, and earned media, customer acquisition, and B2B content creation, among others. You’ll oversee the entire B2B funnel from prospect acquisition to engagement and retention across all channels. You’ll successfully drive campaigns from start to finish with a strong orientation toward testing, adapting, and learning. The marketing strategy should be optimized for building the brand, driving lead conversion to purchase or continued nurturing throughout the sales cycle. You’ll create and execute an appropriate segmentation strategy for marketing programs, analyzing program performance, and deploying optimizations across marketing touchpoints. In addition, you’ll be responsible for developing a smart content strategy and increasing targeted traffic to the website through a mix of organic search, email marketing, paid search and social, webinars, content syndication, social media, and referrals.
The Director of Marketing role heads up a team of three and helps to manage relationships with external partners. Ideally, you have the right combo of B2B experience and a background of managing or mentoring a team. You’re someone who isn’t afraid to shake things up and try new ideas. You’ll partner closely with the VP of Sales and CEO to grow the business.
