Position Summary:

As our Commission Analyst you will be responsible for administering and overseeing NAVEX Global’s incentive compensation plans. In this position you will manage the day-to-day operations of our commission program, including development and communication of plans and policies and providing analytics on effectiveness of plans. This role partners closely with our global sales organization and payroll processing team and demands a high level of cross-functional customer service. This highly visible position will make a meaningful impact on the Company’s sales strategy and achieving our overall financial objectives.

What You Will Do:

  • Design and administer complex, multi-faceted sales incentive plans

  • Process, reconcile and validate large volumes of data to ensure financial integrity of compensation programs

  • Prepare monthly journal entries, account reconciliations and analysis to ensure the Company’s incentive plans are accurately accounted for

  • Research individual sales orders (contractual terms and conditions) and system calculations for compliance with incentive plans

  • Prepare and summarize sales performance results and commission reports for department leadership to influence decision making

  • Provide commission expense reporting and analytics utilizing business intelligence tools

  • Perform system admin responsibilities for the Company’s commission information system

  • Assist in special projects as needed

What You Will Need:

  • Undergraduate degree in Accounting or Finance

  • 1+ years of relevant accounting or analyst experience

  • Proficiency with business software (Email, word processing and Intermediate Excel skills required; Salesforce & Xactly experience preferred)

  • Strong problem solving, analytical and critical thinking skills

  • Acute attention to detail and a high comfort level working with big data

  • Capable of working independently (a self-starter) and collaborating in a team environment

  • An intellectual curiosity that seeks to do things better

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills

  • Experience engaging with people across a variety of levels with diverse backgrounds

  • A commitment to do the right things right
