Information Technology Industry Standards Feedback Survey

CTE Survey blog post

The Oregon Department of Education is seeking input on the skills desired of entry-level job candidates in the Information Technology field. Your feedback will be used to update the standards that career and technical education (CTE) teachers and faculty in Oregon consult when designing coursework. The survey asks you to rate the importance of a set of skills standards for computer programming and/or IT infrastructure and cybersecurity.

Please review this flier for information about CTE in Oregon. You may also wish to review this PowerPoint presentation to learn more about the project. This is an incredible opportunity for industry members to help shape the content that Oregon high school and community college students learn when preparing to enter the field.

You may access the survey here: Information Technology Industry Standards Survey

Please complete your review of the standards by June 25th to ensure your input is recorded.

If you have questions about the survey, please contact: Erin Flynn at erin.flynn@ednw.org
