The Technology Association of Oregon (TAO) is excited to announce First Tech Federal Credit Union as the sponsor of TAO’s online Tech Oregon Community.

The online community was created to bring together TAO’s diverse community of members from across Oregon and SW Washington by providing a platform for networking, mentorship, and career development. Built by TAO member company Mobilize, the platform is designed to be a “professional growth network” where people can connect and collaborate. All TAO members are encouraged to join the group to share knowledge, ask questions, participate in discussions, and start conversations directly with their peers.

“We are pleased to partner with an innovative organization that is a big supporter of the local tech ecosystem,” said Skip Newberry, president and CEO of TAO. “Expanding our online community enables TAO members to have access to a statewide network like never before.”

First Tech is the nation’s premier credit union serving the world’s leading technology-oriented companies and their employees. They offer a full range of customized products and services, as well as individual tools for financial wellness. As the sponsor of the Tech Oregon Community, First Tech will be sharing educational tools and a financial literacy series during “Training Tuesdays” to help TAO members make the most of their resources.

“TAO is an extraordinary organization and a perfect partner as we share a commitment to supporting the next generation of leaders, thinkers and innovators,” said Chylon Pappas, Marketing: Vice President at First Tech. “We’re proud to team up to help the tech community throughout Oregon and Southwest Washington connect and collaborate through this new and engaging platform.”
