During this unprecedented time, Technology Association of Oregon will be featuring the benefits and value that TAO member companies can provide to our greater community in response to the COVID-19 pandemic.

We’re recognized as an industry catalyst for delivering effortless banking experiences and we offer a full range of financial services, including traditional banking, online banking, mortgages, financial planning, consumer loans, and insurance services.

What resources can your business offer the community during the COVID pandemic?:
The need for information, support and guidance is greater than ever. Navigating these challenging and confusing times is our highest priority and we are here to help.

Some examples include our Emergency Assistance Program for those experiencing financial hardship and the Small Business Administration’s Paycheck Protection Program loan to aid members and their businesses. Each situation is unique, so we work directly with members to develop a plan that supports the best financial decisions for where they are today as well as where they want to be in the future.

In addition, we have educational tools and a financial literacy series available on our Financial Care page. Whether members are trying to determine how to manage their finances through this crisis or evaluating if now is the time to refinance student loans, our educational tools, and financial literacy series is another way we can serve and support right now.

Ultimately, we want members to know they’re supported, no matter what life throws their way.

What's your favorite way to pass the time during self-quarantine?:
I am enjoying the time with my family as well as working with the First Tech team as we continue to dedicate ourselves to serving our members and supporting the community. It’s not always easy to balance everything, but I’m incredibly grateful right now for family dinners, getting outdoors and helping others.

What's one thing that helps you stay positive or gives you hope during difficult times?:
Helping others. I’m a proud board member of With Love, an organization that supports children in foster care. There are so many organizations that need our support right now. Giving back, connecting with people and hearing about others in our community supporting people right now helps me keep my spirits up and gives me hope.
