California Consumer Privacy Act + Oregon Businesses

Lunch Learn

On June 28, the California Legislature passed the heavily negotiated California Consumer Privacy Act.  This expansive new legislation came on the heels of the GDPR’s May 25 effective date and has many data security professionals wondering how the Act might affect their businesses and clients.

Emily Maass, Attorney with Lane Powell PC, hosted a Lunch & Learn on Wednesday, October 10th to instruct attendees about the California Consumer Privacy Act, how the Act compares with the GDPR, and what the Act might mean for Oregon businesses.

Lane Powell recorded the program which is embedded below and provided the POWERPOINT from this Lunch & Learn for individuals and companies interested in hearing more.
