During this unprecedented time, Technology Association of Oregon will be featuring the benefits and value that TAO member companies can provide to our greater community in response to the COVID-19 pandemic.
CEO Jon Thomsen explains how Atmosera can help companies with business continuity by managing those applications that “can never go down.”
TAO Member Company: Atmosera
Give us a short intro to your business:
We architect and manage high integrity, high fidelity Microsoft Azure environments. Everything we architect and manage supports really important, “this stuff can never go down” applications and business activities. From the principal functions of security, reliability, and performance, to innovations around DevOps, app modernization, and data/IoT, our focus accelerates the return from an investment in Azure. For this reason, we’re the trusted and secure managed Azure partner to so many great companies around the world.
What resources can your business offer the community during the COVID pandemic?:
Our most requested resources right now are:
- Azure environment assessment and optimization; exfoliating unnecessary expenses from an existing Azure environment.
- Windows Virtual Desktop deployments to facilitate the work-from-home paradigm.
- Information of the Coronavirus Aid, Relief and Economic Security Act (“CARES Act”), providing $2 trillion in stimulus funding
What is the best way for the community to get in touch?:
Atmosera.com has many contact options or you can call 1.800.903.4852
What’s your favorite way to pass the time during self-quarantine?:
Transparently, it’s been non-stop since early March, so any downtime is pretty much dedicated to family… and lots of video calls.
What’s one thing that helps you stay positive or gives you hope during difficult times?:
Stay positive: Meditation really affects point of view and outcome.
Gives hope: The great people around me – personally and professionally.
