The Technology Association of Oregon (TAO) has announced Amber Case, internationally recognized design advocate, as the keynote speaker at the 2022 Oregon Technology Awards on May 3rd at the Oregon Convention Center. Case was named one of Inc. Magazine’s 30 under 30 and Fast Company’s Most Influential Women in Technology, a National Geographic Emerging Explorer in 2012, received the Claude Shannon Innovation Award from Bell Labs, and is author of two books Calm Technology and A Kids Book About Technology.
“The desire and ability to collaborate sets Oregon’s technology community apart. There is a shared commitment to create an ecosystem that supports the growth of dreamers, inventors, and innovators across sectors,” Case said. “As someone intimately familiar with the nuanced relationships we have with technology it is an honor to celebrate our culture that centers quality of life at this year’s Oregon Technology Awards.”
Case joins two-time emcee Jarvis Sam, Vice President, Global Diversity & Inclusion at Nike, Inc. on stage this year. The Oregon Technology Awards celebrates excellence and achievement in the region’s technology industry and honors outstanding individuals with prestigious Sam Blackman, Lifetime Achievement and Tech Champion awards. Ten companies will be recognized for their accomplishments, leadership, and commitment to the industry and community in other award categories.

The 2022 Oregon Technology Awards is presented by JLL and United Healthcare. This year marks its 38th year, and TAO anticipates drawing more than 600 attendees, including entrepreneurs and tech professionals from across the region and around the globe.
