Every employee of a member company is recognized as a member of the Technology Association of Oregon, therefore rates are based on the number of full-time Oregon and Southwest Washington employees.

    Announcing 2019 New TAO Community Affiliate Partnerships!

    In order to improve our service in the community and create valuable new partnerships with local community stakeholders who actively support the Oregon Tech community and TAO's mission we offer a unique opportunity for non-profits, public organizations, and educational institutions to partner with the Oregon tech industry. 

    As a not-for-profit organization TAO understands the commitment we must make in order to support the local communities we serve. and the importance of local partnerships with community stakeholder organizations, including municipal offices, educational institutions, and other non-profits.  Offering an affiliate partnership, rather than a traditional membership, allows TAO to offer these organizations TAO member benefits at a discounted price for affiliation compared to our other membership options.

    Special Partnership Options for 2019

    TAO Venture Fellows Program

    Now Angel Groups and Venture Funds can get involved with TAO and support their new investments as TAO members! This unique program offers new companies a gateway into TAO membership, subsidized by your investment organization's membership in TAO.  Under this program a venture/ angel firm can join TAO at a discounted price, based on the number of FT staff employed, and subsidize membership for its portfolio tech companies for up to one year. Investors, LPs, and associates can access TAO programming at a reduced cost while supporting the growth and development of the companies they invest in. TAO partnership with industry sponsors subsidizes a portion of the membership fees for Fellowship companies. Annual cost is based on employee/ partner tier and number of portfolio tech companies.

    TAO Executives-in-Residence

    TAO Executives-in-Residence are senior industry experts who gain full individual membership access to TAO in exchange for supporting the leadership of TAO communities and up to five (5) mentoring/ advising introductions annually, curated by TAO.  Annual TAO EIR Membership costs $200, and can be started via the application above.


    TAO Passport Program

    Does your membership organization pay a lot of attention to entrepreneurs and start-ups?  Does your organization support technology development in Oregon? Does your organization help to develop the talent and ecosystem for our tech economy to thrive?  So do we!

    The TAO Passport program is for TAO “sister” organizations, institutions, and trade associations to allow your dues-paying members the chance to attend up to five (5) of our events at member pricing and a 20% discount on TAO annual membership.  If your membership organization would like to become a TAO Passport Partner, please contact Membership Director Jerry Gaube at:
