The Technology Association of Oregon is the only Oregon-based trade association dedicated solely to supporting the success of our state's software and technology Industries.

Since 1989, the TAO has helped connect industry leaders with the people, ideas and networks of our state, building a foundation that supports innovation and entrepreneurship. Our membership includes software and technology companies from start-ups to established industry leaders, service providers, and government, community and educational institutions.

Who we are and what we do:

• We're approximately 350 member organizations strong, with members throughout Oregon and SW Washington
  
• We're building collaboration networks for sharing knowledge and entrepreneurial support
• We work to foster relationships, both business-to-business and public/private, to further develop and grow revenue in Oregon and build a sustainable economic future for the industry and our state
  
• We work directly with our Oregon's federal, state and locally elected officials, including the Governor’s office, the Oregon Legislature and the Portland Mayor’s office - to drive economic development policies and strategies that impact businesses in Oregon
